Pitbull and Quartz are used here, once you get used to them playing without them is just annoying. Above the action bars I will have some unit frames and cast bars. If it's vanilla, I think Bartender has some options for hiding Blizzard. Moving across to the center bottom, here I will have a couple of rows of buttons courtesy of bartender 4, and I think Ill get fancy with button facade to make it all look fancypants. Bartender has an option for the blizzard art bar. Or use Bartender since the default ui is crap.
Usually it's enough to figure out whether it's a vanilla or addon (and which addon's) frame. Use bartender for the action bars and move anything for everything else.
It should show you the names of frames under your cursor. I right-clicked bartender and hit browse folder and found out this went to classic wow instead of retail wow. Type in chat '/fstack', then hover over the offending UI frame. Also in these options there are ways to turn off blizzard art bar and mess with other important features of the game such as bar bag, micro menu, narrowed. almost everything about the hot bar that you can change. An easy way to make them "stick" is using the addon "Weak Auras" and create an aura that runs that code on startup. SpartanUI is designed to free your screen by moving a majority of the interface elements to the bottom. These scripts are only a temporary fix, however. To find a frame's texture object, type "/script print(:GetObjectType())" and the output in your chat area should be "Texture". However, you'll need to find the frame's texture. To find out the frames for any additional darkening, simply type "/framestack" and hover over the frame objects you want to alter. 0,0,0 is completely black, and 1,1,1 is normal. The 3 numbers in SetVertexColor(0.2,0.2,0.2) will determine how dark you'll make the textures.
